Muff Waders Women’s Signature Edition Beer Overalls
We designed the Signature Edition specifically for women who refuse to compromise between comfort and capacity. These insulated beer overalls feature an athletic cut through the shoulders and torso, with reinforced pockets that hold up to six standard cans without pulling or sagging.

The Signature Edition uses a heavyweight stretch denim that balances durability with flex. The 78/20/2 cotton-poly-spandex blend holds its shape through repeated wear and washing, while the stretch component prevents binding when you bend or crouch.

Insulated Bib Storage System
The front bib pocket holds six 12oz cans in two rows, secured by a magnetic flap closure that you can operate one-handed. Our thermal lining consists of closed-cell foam laminated to a moisture-barrier layer — the same insulation system commercial cooler bags use.
In independent testing, cans stored in the bib stayed below 45°F for up to four hours in 85-degree ambient temperatures. The foam padding also protects your chest from the cold cans themselves. We included drainage grommets at the bottom corners so condensation won’t pool against your body.

Sizing & Fit for Women
Why We Built a Women-Specific Cut
Our original unisex overalls worked for many customers, but we heard consistent feedback about gaping waistbands and short rises that didn’t account for women’s proportions. The Signature Edition addresses those concerns with a contoured waist that follows natural curves, plus a longer front rise for comfortable coverage.
The shoulder straps adjust from 14 to 18 inches and cross in back rather than running straight down, distributing weight across your upper back instead of pulling on your neck. When it comes to getting the right inseam, our guide walks through how to measure from crotch seam to desired hem length — most customers find their usual pant inseam matches our sizing chart measurements within half an inch. We offer three inseam lengths (30″, 32″, 34″) so you can achieve the right break over your boots or sneakers.

Common Questions About the Signature Edition
The Signature Edition runs true to size based on standard US women’s sizing. If you typically wear a size 8 in jeans, order a medium. The adjustable straps give you about four inches of length adjustment in the torso, so you have flexibility even if you’re between sizes.
We recommend measuring your natural waist and hips and comparing those measurements to our size chart. The stretch denim provides some give, but if your measurements put you at the top of one size range, consider sizing up for a more relaxed fit through the seat and thighs.
The bib is designed around standard 12oz cans and holds six of them securely. You can fit four 16oz tall cans instead, though they’ll stick up slightly above the bib line. Standard 12oz bottles also work, though the diameter is slightly narrower than cans so they have a bit more movement.
We don’t recommend mixing cans and bottles in the same load, as the height difference causes the magnetic closure to not seal properly. Stick with one format per loading for the best insulation performance.
Yes — the closed-cell foam insulation in the Signature Edition maintains temperature in warm conditions. In our testing at 85°F ambient temperature, cans stayed below 45°F for four hours. In cooler weather (60-70°F), you can expect five to six hours of cooling performance.
For maximum cold retention, pre-chill your cans in a refrigerator or cooler before loading the bib. Starting with colder beverages extends the effective insulation time. The thermal lining works both ways, so it also prevents your body heat from warming the drinks.
The Signature Edition is built for all-day wear. The stretch denim moves with you, and the crossback strap design distributes weight across your shoulders and upper back rather than pulling on your neck. The contoured waist prevents the bunching and gaping that makes traditional overalls uncomfortable after a few hours.
The foam padding in the bib also serves as cushioning between your chest and the cold cans, so you don’t feel the temperature against your body. Most customers report wearing these for six to eight hours at tailgates and sporting events without discomfort.
Measure from your crotch seam to where you want the hem to fall, typically at your ankle bone or the top of your shoe. The 30-inch inseam works for most customers 5’4″ and under, the 32-inch fits customers 5’5″ to 5’8″, and the 34-inch is designed for customers 5’9″ and taller.
If you’re unsure, the 32-inch inseam is our most popular option and can be hemmed if needed. Keep in mind that the overalls sit slightly higher than regular jeans due to the bib design, so your usual pant inseam may translate to a slightly shorter overall inseam in these.
Yes — machine wash in cold water and tumble dry on low heat. The insulated foam laminate is designed for repeated washing and maintains its thermal properties through 100+ wash cycles. We’ve tested the magnetic closure system to ensure it’s fully sealed against water intrusion.
Avoid high heat in the dryer, as it can degrade the foam and reduce the elasticity in the stretch fibers. Skip fabric softener, which can coat the denim and reduce breathability. Air drying is also fine if you prefer it.
The Signature Edition features a women-specific cut with a contoured waist, longer front rise, and crossback straps designed to fit women’s proportions better. It uses a stretch denim blend (78% cotton, 20% polyester, 2% spandex) instead of the Original’s 100% cotton denim.
Both versions have the same insulated bib capacity (six 12oz cans) and thermal performance. The Signature Edition is tailored for customers who found the Original’s unisex fit too boxy or uncomfortable through the waist and hips. If you prefer a looser, more traditional overall fit, the Original may still be the better choice.
